WHO WE ARE

Adults have an obligation to act when a child cannot.

Gabriel Company is an independent child-protection advocacy organization created for situations in which credible concerns for a child's safety have been ignored, inadequately addressed, or lost within the systems responsible for protecting them.

We are advocates, professionals, survivors, investigators, attorneys, medical and child-welfare professionals, and ordinary citizens united by one belief: Adults have an obligation to act when a child cannot.

We are not a replacement for law enforcement, CPS, the courts, or emergency services. We exist to make certain that when those systems fail to adequately respond, the child is not forgotten.
WHAT WE DO

We don't simply give you another phone number.

Gabriel Company receives concerns involving children believed to be in serious danger, particularly when previous attempts to obtain intervention have failed. We document the concern, review available information, gather lawfully obtainable evidence, establish what authorities have already been contacted, and determine appropriate avenues for escalation.

We document what is happening, what has already been reported, and what response has—or has not—occurred.

02 — REVIEW

We evaluate.

Available information is reviewed so appropriate avenues for intervention and escalation can be identified.

03 — FOLLOW THROUGH

We keep going.

When credible concerns warrant escalation, we pursue a meaningful response and continue following the case rather than simply making another referral.
